I have been immersed in the world of yoga for as long as I can remember. I began my practice as a child alongside my mother, explored it as a teenager, and then delved deeply during my 20s and 30s. In 2023, I formalized my dedication to yoga by completing my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) with Tish Hilyer at YAM, Yoga and Massage Studio, specializing in Vinyasa flow, Hatha, Yin, and Restorative yoga.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes the importance of breath (pranayama) as a core component of my classes. Pranayama, which means life force energy and stretching in Sanskrit, is central to my belief that yoga asana (postures) and breath work are powerful meditative techniques that provide a pathway to inner peace and physical well-being.

My classes offer a gentle yet effective blend of flow and restorative practices, focusing on alignment, breath, and mindfulness. I enjoy incorporating music, humor, and authenticity to create a joyful and immersive spiritual experience for my students. My wish is to be warm, approachable, and supportive creating classes that are accessible to practitioners of all levels, from beginners to advanced students.ng and personal practice.
When I am not on the mat, I enjoy spending time in nature with my husband and family, paddleboarding, hiking, gardening, traveling, dancing, meditating, reading, and preparing healthy, nourishing meals for her loved ones. I am dedicated to living a consciously evolving life and strive to inspire my students to do the same.

I found a class that I've been looking for for a long time. It's a yoga class taught by my daughter Danielle. I was looking for something that had the heart of yoga in it. And the heart of yoga to me is meditation. I was missing the atmosphere of meditation in the classes that I've taken in the last few years.
Coming into Danielle's space at the Healing Cottage sets you up for the peace and tranquility and energy of her class.
The space is beautiful in itself, but Danielle sets the stage and sets the quality and energy of the class by how she arranges the room.
Danielle teaches several different types of classes. I love the more yin ones the softer ones they're soft but much is accomplished in opening joints and strengthening. Danielle starts the class with a theme that she carries out throughout the class. Doing readings, quotes that inspire and permeate your practice with the Meditative energy of the class. The only thing you need when attending Danielle's class is to walk through the door. And it's a blessing you will be glad you did.
I love the background music, appropriate for each stage of the class. I love the aromatherapy scented eye pillows. The blanket at the end. And the entire experience.
