We as men are faced with an immense pressure of carrying the weight of the world on our shoulders, often falling short of having quality role models who exemplify what it truly means to be a man. Depression, addiction, and suicide in males have erupted. The cultural narrative to do more to reach societal belonging creates friction against looking inward, forcing us to conform to a troubled society’s expectations and sacrificing who we truly are in the process.
The result impacts our relationships, our work, and the earth, while breeding an inner critic that is often abusive and degrading, perpetuating a closed-loop system that is failing the very world we live in.
We are here to break that cycle.
The soul has been knocking at your door with longing for something more—you and I both know this, and likely you feel it every day. This world urgently needs courageous warriors who have faced their pain and lead with the strength of their hearts. One must abandon a life of comfort for something of greater value and take the dark descent inward into remembering who you are: the soul's journey.
Do not give up on your heart. Not anymore.
For men ready to meet fear with courage: All of life has conspired to bring you here. What suffering did your ancestry experience to give you life, and who is to follow? What will you make of this opportunity of life?
As you do, your relationships will flourish once more, and your connection to life will mirror the rhythms of nature—embracing the stillness of winter to bloom anew into your full potential.
At this retreat, you’ll be joined by a community of inspired, committed men who will breathe air on that ember, helping you reignite the fire in your heart.
This is an immersive experience designed to challenge and inspire you. Through breathwork, rituals, and group activities, you’ll:
This retreat is an invitation to shed the masks you’ve been wearing, reconnect with your innate power, and return to your life with a greater sense of clarity and purpose. It is time to come home. It is time for peace.

The meals at Blue Osa Retreat Center are a centerpiece of the experience, offering nourishing, farm-to-table cuisine crafted with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Each meal is a celebration of Costa Rica's natural abundance, designed to sustain your body and spirit throughout your journey.
The menu is predominantly vegan and vegetarian, with an emphasis on vibrant, plant-based dishes that nourish and energize. As part of the retreat’s culinary experience, local, sustainably sourced chicken will be served at two meals during the week.
Start your day with a wholesome breakfast featuring tropical fruits, fresh juices, locally grown coffee, hearty grains, and creative dishes infused with local flavors.
Lunches and dinners are equally vibrant, showcasing comforting soups, colorful salads, plant-based dishes, and thoughtfully prepared proteins. Every bite is carefully crafted to balance nourishment and flavor, fueling your transformation.
Between meals, enjoy herbal teas, fresh coconuts, or snacks from the smoothie bar, soaking in the serenity of the jungle and ocean views. Dining at Blue Osa is not just a meal; it’s a ritual of connection and renewal.
Make sure you have a valid passport with an expiration date at least 6 months beyond your departure date. No visa is required for U.S. citizens visiting Costa Rica for stays of 90 days or less.
Travel insurance is required for this retreat.
The retreat center provides yoga mats and props, but you’re welcome to bring your own mat if preferred. Pack lightweight, breathable clothing for the tropical climate, along with comfortable walking shoes and swimwear.
Additional items to consider:
In Costa Rica, power plug sockets are of type A and B with a standard voltage of 120 V and a frequency of 60 Hz, similar to the U.S.
Toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, and soap are provided in the rooms, but you can bring your own if preferred.
Finally, don’t forget cash or a credit card for smoothie bar purchases, dinner out in Puerto Jimenez, shopping, and optional excursions or spa treatments.
The easiest route is to fly into Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) in San Jose, Costa Rica. From there, you’ll take a connecting flight to Puerto Jimenez Airport (PJM), located approximately 15 minutes from the Blue Osa Retreat Center.
Blue Osa works closely with Sansa Airlines and can assist you in booking your connecting flight from San Jose to Puerto Jimenez. The round-trip cost is approximately $299.
Once you arrive in Puerto Jimenez, Blue Osa provides round-trip airport shuttles to and from the retreat center, included in your retreat package.
We recommend booking a flight that arrives in San Jose early enough to make your connecting flight to Puerto Jimenez. Aim to arrive at Blue Osa by the afternoon of July 20th, 2025, in time for the welcome circle and dinner.
For your return journey, plan for a departure flight in the late afternoon on July 26th to enjoy the morning yoga session and breakfast before checkout.
Consider arriving in Costa Rica a day or two early to explore San Jose or adjust to the tropical climate before the retreat begins.
If your travel plans are delayed or canceled, Blue Osa staff will monitor your flight details and assist with alternative arrangements.
